Elisabeth von Leliwa
Elisabeth von Leliwa, born in Berlin in 1962, studied musicology, theater studies and art history at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Cologne. Since 1987, she has worked as a dramaturge for the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, focusing on publications and orchestra management.
From 2003 to 2012, she took on artistic and organizational responsibility as head dramaturge in the Tonhalle's management team.
Since 2012, Elisabeth von Leliwa has worked freelance in cultural management and as a coach, particularly for the independent contemporary music and cultural scene. She has been invited as a lecturer and for workshops at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, among others. She has an intensive collaboration with EarPort, which was established by the composers Gerhard Stäbler and Kunsu Shim as a place for experimental music and encounters between the arts in Duisburg's inner harbor.
As part of the project "On the Wings of Music - Concerts for People with Dementia", she was awarded the BKM Prize for Cultural Education by the Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media in 2014. Since then, innovative musical programs for people with dementia have been an important part of her work.
In 2022, she completed her certification as an Integrative Enneagram Accredited Practitioner in order to expand her coaching services with an effective tool for personal and professional development.
