Chatterbox - A Course in Mindfulness
Mindfulness in this course is focused on one’s ability to shape tone, language and content. Chatter is intended to help make recognizable examples of this capacity also for self-determination and self-shaping.
Mindfulness is comparable to the beam of a flashlight, which, directed at "objects hidden in the dark," makes them visible through its light. The lamp serves as an auxiliary image for myself, the "someone looking."
Mindfulness is a characteristic of Buddhist art of living in numerous cultures and schools from Sri Lanka to Japan and has meaning in many European schools of own realization of the self, the concrete and closest to me part of being and world.
Mindfulness is not only an aspect of increased self-determination, it also justifies demands for more freedom, responsibility and participation in a time of increasing control by structures of domination, which restrict self-determination in favor of political and economic heteronomy.
