Fanja Raum
The musician, instrumental teacher and Alexander Technique teacher Fanja Raum studied saxophone at the Robert-Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf. Since then she has given concerts all over the world, in Poland, Russia, Portugal, among many others. with a focus on contemporary music and interdisciplinary art forms as a soloist and in various ensembles. She also works as a saxophone, clarinet and piano teacher and organizes composition courses and workshops for children, teenagers and adults. During her music studies in 2008 she got to know the Alexander Technique, which she loved for its simplicity, effectiveness and individuality. She received lessons in Alexander Technique until she completed the training as an Alexander Technique teacher with Irma Hesz from 2014 - 2018. Since then, she has been teaching the Alexander Technique in group and individual lessons as well as in workshops. In addition to this, she received further training with Ilona Rios and Amy Adams, among others
